The plot summery on the preceding page basically spells it out fairly well, if not all to briefly. Will be doing some serious reflecting afterwards. The people who are always late for things that watch this series Not necessarily the big ones ether, about the small ones. (the selfish one ,in this case) ' Such is life, it seems to always be the selfish ones which a pond reflection are always the most regretted' (that's my quote)Īfter watching this series you will look back and wonder about the chooses you've made.
This is a straight up drama about 4 high School friends (2 male and 2 female) It's about friendship, love, lose, and the chooses we make, and about how all of that can change with one choose. Cut out the unneeded filler that made it 14eps. They could do what the creators couldn't do. You can air this series on the Oxygen or WE channels as is, without doing anything to it, except to use the BLUR machine here and there….Well…. I did read some reviews about it, and the summery page here, and thought it would be a nice Mature Title to watch, (I don't mean xxx adult mature ether).Īs it turns out, it is not only one of the best 'slice of life' stories I've seen in an Anime, it also stands up to any live action one with a similar story line, and there are a lot of them out there. ( SSHH, don't tell anyone, that even a crusty old guy like me, sometimes like to watch a tear jerker) And that is to bad, because I do think it hurt the story. Basically it's the standard Anime tricks of the trade used to increase the length of a series. Also the part between Takayuki and his young female co-worker and how she went about getting a copy of a children's Book for him… Who was that other girl that showed up with the book? Who is she to Takayuki's co-worker ? (you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it).
The same goes for most of Mitsuki's (2nd female lead) work scenes. Most of the stuff at Takayuki's (the male lead) job should of have been dropped. It wouldn't of taken anything away from the story, in fact it would of tightened it up. It should have been AT THE VERY,VERY,VERY MOST ,12 episodes, and it REALLY SHOULD of have been less than that. First let me get the 'BUT' form the one line summery out of the way, this series is 14 episodes Long.
